B Holland, C Hickinbotham, N Tulett, I Farley
G Nicol, T Auckland, D Vaulters,   D Bradbury

OUTS:

Will the Kookaburras adapt to the grass at the home of the Reds? That will be the telling factor for mine in this game.
As mentioned earlier the acquisition of both Nicol and Hockey alone, will boost this experienced outfit a lot.
However Noel Staude and his teammates might just spoil the party.
Gosnells 6-2

SAFETY BAY v FREMANTLE

Coote, Gill, Gavranich, Gittins
Bacich, Ngui, Grasper, Holt
Heldt, Gibson, Moore, Chessell
INS:
OUTS:

What a monumental task that Freo have in front of them on Saturday, when they travel way down south to the tricky synthetic greens at the bay.
As far as I know the Green Machine have retained the majority of their players, which will make them near unbeatable at home.
The Mariners have also retained the nucleus of their players, and picked up a few as well, but I don’t think that will help them on Saturday.
Safety Bay. 7-1

The home ground advantage here will probably be too much for the Ravens to overcome, as will the determined and fairly aggressive nature the locals go about their bowls. Good skips on both sides with the likes of Unkovich (Ivan the Great), Nadilo, Perica, strutting their stuff for the home side. Not sure if Marko Krajancic jnr is in for his first game for the market gardeners, could be interesting.
I don’t know the Thornlie side, so it is hard to get a handle on them at the moment.
Spearwood 7-1

HILTON PARK v MANNING

HILTON PARK
R Hunter, C McMahon, G Saint, S Farrell
T Simpson, Daniel Newton, R Turner, Dave Newton
G Dodd, K Willis, J Bajic, F Kuhn
C Standley, L Garbutt, B Smith, R Butler

OUTS:

MANNING
A Pryce, D McIlheney, M Hughes, P Bowden
S Adams, B Adams, N Rees, A Lill
G Quann, M Ellis, P Herbert, B Wright
S Hughes, G Hogg, B Connell, S Lambert
INS:
OUTS:

This could be the clash of the round, as I would expect the visiting outfit to come out all guns blazing down at Hilton on Saturday.
Can the good skips at Hilton overcome the overall strong combination of Manning, who look very strong right through the positions.
The Hawks skips being Hunter, Simpson, Dodd, and Standley, it looks like they have picked up the Newton, father, son duo from Armadale too, more than handy players.
The Manning skips of Steve Hughes, Alan Pryce, Greg Quann are all Ex Premier League bowlers, backed up by many other ex top division team mates in Nigel Rees, Mark Ellis, Merv Hughes and Andy Lill to name a few.
Manning 6-2

LEEMING

A Anderson, N Bennetts,     M Hosking, D Cleal
G Ford, G Burgess, A Green, R Lipple
J Newton, S Dobie,     A Andersson, R Bellis
INS:
OUTS:

The Lions look extremely strong on paper, with very solid skips, backed up by a host of experienced bowlers
Not at all sure who the Storm have in their side, which makes it very hard to predict the outcome here, but I think the Lions will prevail away from home.
Leeming. 7-1
