Other commitments prevented my review for round 10. It almost went the way I predicted with the exception of Swan being too good for Yokine and now are top of the ladder after winning their last six. Quinns were very good against Wanneroo, perhaps the break has enabled them to regain their mojo with Wanneroo likely to struggle to avoid automatic relegation. North Beach beat Mundaring but a bigger margin was expected for a side that appeared a certainty for finals while Mundaring fall into the danger zone of a challenge playoff. Doubleview dug deep to beat Kalamunda away but will need results to go their way to have a chance of finals, Kalamunda is also in danger of challenge playoff but should avoid automatic relegation. Mt Lawley unbeaten over the past four games are looming as finals possibilities were too strong for an improving Stirling who may need to start planning for second division, player losses a bridge too far.
This week we have some games that should be closely contested.

Despite home ground advantage it is difficult to see Wanneroo beating a, on paper, a very strong Doubleview side who must win to keep finals hopes alive. They were pushed by a determined Kalamunda side last week won aggregate narrowly but I expected a far different result this week.

A lot hinges on this contest for both of these teams who conceivably could be in 7th and 8th position at the end of this round should North Beach beat Mt Lawley. Kalamunda have been good at home and I think that will continue and should account for Mundaring in a tight game.

Are top of the ladder with their closest rivals playing each other Swan will further ahead after this game. They have lost two good players for this week, Stirling are improving, however even with the player losses Swan should be far too strong.

Quinns were back to their early season form against Wanneroo last week and this makes this a dangerous game for Yokine who could slip to fourth should Mt Lawley beat North Beach and Yokine lose. Yokine are a good side, Quinns in form are a real good side, who wins. Home ground advantage was not it for Yokine last week and I do not think it will be again this week.

Undefeated in their last four games and sitting 4th on the ladder a win for Mt Lawley here would almost certainly have them in 3rd position with finals beckoning. I tipped North Beach for finals and they have won their last 3 games but still sit in 7th position. They did beat Mundaring at home last week but the margin was narrow. I think I will pick North Beach but without any confidence.
