A game that meant something for both sides as they looked for form but probably lacked the impact on the ladder as the Saints only pulled the Kats deeper into relegation trouble.
Pasalich had Vinci well covered & blew out to a big 15 shot win to get the Saints off & running for a big day out away from home. Di Giuseppe's side was back to their best as they eased past Bezant by 8 which sealed the Agg & give them 3 wins in a row.
Radford had a strong game against Ingram & won by 4 shots in a tight contest. Radford's side has being the new shining light for the Kats & now are 3 from 3 while grabbing another important point for the Kats. Ball tried their best to pull back the Agg but the damage was done. They still managed to pull away from Carter by 9 shots to grab another valuable point.
Kats are now in real trouble & the Saints knockup their first away win this season to give them some confidence going into the back end of the season.

Kieran Cousens 34 v Eoghan Gahan 10
William Baker 20 v Brett Holland 18
Sean Mawdsley 26 v Frank Carbone 11
The Wizards needed a big win & they destroyed the Kookaburras by nearly 60 shots in one of the highest scoring wins all season. Given Gosnells form it was reasonable the assume they would grab at least 1 point but the Wizards shared sandwiches & gave them donuts for the ride home in an impressive & timely win.
Strange continued their great form by smashing the Nicol's side by 18 shots to give Nicol's the biggest loss of the year as they have performed very well all season, so great performance by Strange's rink. Cousens threw plenty of petrol on the flames by destroying Gahan's side by 24 shots in a huge result, in their biggest win of the season & gets them back to 50/50 status on the ladder. Baker edged Holland by 2 shots in a close contest. Mawdsley stuck a large juicy cherry on top as they remain on top of the skipper ladder by easing past Carbone by 15 shots to give Warnbro the full allocation.
Grabbing a big 8 for Warnbro closes that grab to a minimum at the top so it’s game on from here. Nothing massively lost for Gosnells as they’re playing well & will surely bounce right back.
Result: Warnbro 8 - 0
Prediction: Warnbro 6 - 2
Safety Bay 102 (7) v Wanneroo 76 (1)
Christopher Owen 26 v Hugh Ward 16
Chris Carruthers 22 v Darren Turra 25
Grant Taylor 22 v Kingsley Toster 14
Ron Hall 32 v David Triffitt 21
Another 100 shot+ game here as the Bay dismantle the ladder leaders in a huge upset. The upset is not just the win, it’s the 7pts & near 30 shots they finished ahead of the PL contenders. Although it mightn’t necessarily be a huge upset since The Bay did draw in the corresponding fixture & were very very close to taking 7pts that day!!
It started with Owen putting a nice 10 shots over Ward. Carruthers, like many, found it more difficult to contain Turra as they lost by 3 shots, as Turra's rink continue their great form of only losing 2 games all season. Taylor did respond very well against Toster by 8 shots. And Hall topped off the huge performance by The Bay as they held Triffitt at arms reach all day & won by 11 shots.
Although only 3rd spot on the ladder in percentage which was pretty much the percentage of this game alone, Safety Bay will take it all day long against the top side. This puts them within 1 game of automatic promotion to the big time so a huge few weeks ahead. Wanneroo have lost 3 of the last 5 games & are probably at that tipping point of gathering themselves for a late push & or falling away. I would imagine after last year they'll be bouncing right back after this loss.
Rodney Revell 22 v Lindsay Hill 9
Travis Lynch 27 v Graeme Smith 17
Jovan Krstic 20 v Jon Borkowski 17
Aidan Caccioppoli 19 v Brian Ledingham 25
The Lions needed to play this out & let the form push through to grab a valuable 7pts. Basso need to put away these home games to stay in that safe mid section & possibly have a late crack at a Finals spot.
Rocket's side were on the ball against Hill as they won by 13 shots. Lynch's rink added another 10 shots against Smith. Krstic continued their great form & added another valuable point against Borkowski by 3 shots. And Ledingham fought back well against Caccioppoli by 6 shots to grab a big 1 pt for Warwick.
Basso have edged out of the trouble zone but only by 0.5pts & even could make a push for Finals. The Magpies probably need a purple patch on the run home to allow them to stay close to that elusive playoff spot where they’ll be very hard to beat against a Freo or Yokine to get into 1 White.
Louie Beurteaux 21 v Rohan Cantrill 24
Stephen Jocelyn 19 v Martin Hinchcliffe 15
Dale Marsland 29 v Christopher Parr 12
Cameron Hoffman 17 v John Berecz 26
The Mossies were planning for at least 6pts & they delivered just that to add to Quinns shocking away form. No game is easy but if you are looking to play Finals you may think you’ll need at least a few more points from away games than what Quinns have delivered.
The Mossies turned the tables on the corresponding Round where Quinns took the Mossies at home by a similar result & this gives them a solid chance of staying in touch with the top sides with some more good home games to come.
Beurteaux struggled against Cantrill's side who weren't for beating as they lost by 3 shots & gave Quinns first blood on the board. Jocelyn responded well against Hinchcliffe by winning by 4 shots in a tough game. Marsland was the difference as they dropped 17 shots into a struggling Parr's side & that was probably the difference in the game in the end. Berecz made a late run for the Agg by taking Hoffman by 9 shots but the ship had just sailed in a great contest by both sides.
Quinns are now into that dreaded playoff zone but Mosman Park are sitting in a comfortable 4th with a small margin opening up to 5th but more importantly with the Roo's dropping their bundle, they are now only 1 win for automatic promotion & life back in the PL.
