Stirling at home for any team is going to be tough. The local lads know that green better than the back of their own hand. The Wolf pack always put up a battle at home and I will be very interested to see the result Saturday evening. One change for the Lions and a solid 16. If Basso are going to stay in this division, then they need to beat Stirling at home but after the Wolf packs disappointing first round, I think they will edge out Basso in a close one

No changes in either side. The Beach boys brimming with confidence from last weeks win but its all going to depend on the speed of the green. I haven’t heard the speed of the green yet but that is going to be vital. I did see the greenkeeper flooding the green this morning on the way to work!! (Only joking). But having played preseason games before at Morley, it won’t be the fastest and even though the beach boys will make a good account of themselves I think Morley will get the biscuits just.

This and the Dogs/Saints are the games to watch this round. Both Joondalup and Doubleview one change each and the View with confidence travel up to Joondalup. We will see who has the early season form and I think the dolphins will get their season off the ground and get a W next to their name. I think and hope its going to be a banging game and will be decided in the last few ends. If both of these clubs are serious about playing finals this year, then it should be a close one.

No changes for Warwick but Swan lose Wood and P. Natalotto. 2 really strong outs. Swan can be a tough green to play on and they have a huge amount of pride but the Magpie 16 will be to strong for Swan. Warwick are going to keep the W record intact.

No changes for the doggies, the saints with 2 changes and it should be a very interesting game. Ossie Pk started well last week and the doggies showing a bit of bite. Yokine need to win every home game this season if they are going to play finals. I am not sure its quite the right mix and they look like they are missing the Pom. Unsure where he is if he is unwell - get well soon and if you’re taking a season off enjoy the time away from the game. The doggies are a much more balanced side with him in it and his W/L ratio is always very high when in the squad. I think the saints will have to much fire power on display this week and are going for the away side. There isn’t many weaknesses across the 4 lines.
