Only 3 and half points separate the top 4 teams and it’s the Eagles that will head into round 12 on top. The Saints getting a much needed win to stay in the hunt and Sorrento was the only bottom 4 team to record a win and still have a chance of avoiding the challenge game.
The Knights jump into the 4 knocking off the leaders by 4. Blake Nairn winning the battle of the top skippers getting over Rooster Wishart by 9 and was backed up by Crowle and Plucka Adams both getting the job done. Paul Davies in his return kept the away side in the game with a 21 shot win over Harris. Big one for the Knights next week as they head over to Manning while the Millers continue on the road to take on the Lions.

The Saints have managed to regroup and get their season back on track with 12 a shot win over Doubleview. While all the rinks were close it was 7 much needed points for the home side and will be looking to keep that form going when they head to Leeming next week. Doubleview only 9 points clear of the beef and it doesn’t get much better as they host the premiers.
Sorrento 90 (7) vs Leeming 70 (1)
(Chris Leggett 32 - James Bowden 18) (Greg Taylor 20 - Karl Vandersluys 19) (Murray Hulbert 24 - Jim Newton 16) (Rhett Butler 14 - Lionel Mundri 17)
Sorrento had to win this and that they did recording a 20 shot win over the Leeming. They are still 7 and a half points from safety but will give themselves a real good chance when they head to Cockburn. Leeming can only try and chase down the Doubleview in hope of a challenge game as they host the Saints next week.
