Cockburn get their first win for the year and a big one at that beating Doubleview by 30 shots. Cockburn now will be looking to continue the momentum as they head over to take on fellow beef Leeming. Big heck now for the View as they face a doubleheader next week against the Knights and the Eagles.

After going down to the premiers on Friday night the Eagles have bounced back beating the Lions by 22. The win jumps them into 3rd spot and will be looking to finish off the first round strong as they head over to take on Doubleview. The loss for the Lions drops them from 1st to 5th but are only 1 point out of the 4. They head back home next week to take on Sorrento.

The win just keeps the Saints hanging on in the 4 and face a tough next week to finish off against the Millers. The win on Friday night and the 2 points was enough for the premiers to regain top spot on the ladder, they finish off the first round at home against the Knights

The win sits them just 1 and a half behind the premiers and will be looking to finish the first round in the top 2 when they host the Saints. Not good for Sorrento after a couple of departures during the week getting an egg but lets see how the finish the round when they head over to the Den next week
