Looks like we should all be good to go this week with more appropriate weather conditions forecast.
Looking forward to a big week of action in Blue South.
With the abandonment of Round 11 just 7 rounds now remaining so every point becomes vital Let’s check out the selections for this week

Dr G Jackson, G Watts, B McDougall, P Hartnett INS: T Williams, B Taylor, T Lutey, B McDougall OUTS: D Kitson, M Wilson, B Regan, P Guelfi
Kardinya back at home this week vs Warnbro who have failed to perform away from home this season so far. In addition 4 changes to the Warnbro side for this match which will most likely make things a little tougher. Whilst yet to see the Kardinya side I will select them on trust and expect them to get the points at home on Saturday in a hard fought match
Kardinya 6-2
DALKEITH NEDLANDS v SOUTH PERTH

M Saunders, M Green, T Allen, P Jeanes

Big match here with Dalkeith looking to get back in the winners list and give themselves some breathing space from the bottom half of the ladder. But it will not be easy against an experienced South Perth team on the improve. Not sure about the Dalkeith side as well with John Morgan out again this week and the talented Julian Brown also unavailable. Not yet sighted the South Perth team so somewhat difficult to assess this match. Dalkeith yet to lose at home this season so will select them without a lot of confidence in a close match.
Dalkeith 6-2
THORNLIE v FREMANTLE
THORNLIE
E Gollan, P Riggio, L Curtis, A Payne
N Holden, J Stean, C Penaluna, J Mitchell
M Yates, G Vaughan, J Thorn, P De Meuse
D Slade, M Separovich, M Forrester, A Williams INS: P DeMeuse OUTS: D Cooper
FREMANTLE
P Wachmer, B Wright, D Regan, R Ireland
S McCormack, J Chessell, F Pensabene, N Mulligan
D Golem, B Sumich, M Conway, R McGuffie
K Atkins, B Ciccotosto, A Gale, E Lacy INS: R Ireland, P Wachmer OUTS: J Stewart, N Gaspar
Fremantle look to be in some trouble and will need to get a move on if they intend to survive this season. However the return of Peter Wachmer to the side will certainly strengthen their side for the 2nd half of the season. Despite this the Thornlie side look to be on the improve and in racing parlance look good things this week. I think tis should be comfortable win for Thornlie and leave them in a better position to push for safety come the end of the season.
Thornlie 7-1
ROCKINGHAM v KALAMUNDA
ROCKINGHAM
B Edwards, J Lethlean, K Tremlett, T Rubery
R McIlveen, P Villa, I Barrett, S Wales
L Atkins, G Roberts, I Wright, D Poole
M Simpson, S Currie, T Threlfall, K Fyles INS: T Rubery, S Wales OUTS: F Smith, R George
KALAMUNDA
I Cornthwaite, D Park, B Farrant, D Connell
W Olive, A Bartlett, V Hughes, M Thomas
D Wooltorton, P Keating, G Trevaskis, B Solly
B Brandsma, M Gill, A Brandsma, M Clancy INS: P Keating, V Hughes OUTS: P Townsend, S Anning
I seem to recall that Kalamunda were given a fright earlier in the season at home against Rockingham and the Rocky boys would certainly fancy their chances at home this week. Kalamunda have been off form in recent matches but they will know the importance of this match to keep alive their chances of top spot. Would be great to see the Brandsma rink take on the Simpson rink - the old master without a defeat vs an up and coming young star. Tough game to select but expect Kalamunda to pull out all stops and get a close win.
Kalamunda 6-2
FORRESTFIELD v VICTORIA PARK CARLISLE
FORRESTFIELD
J Weppner, C Holland, A Keegan, F Gore
B Wicks, M Garner, J Forrest, H Rabey
R Tillemans, M Vatri, L Stedman, L Delcaro
R Cummings, T Tillemans, R Carr, J Tillemans INS: No changes OUTS:
VICTORIA PARK CARLISLE

Another interesting match and whilst Vic Park will go in as hot favourites I do expect that Forrestfield will throw everything at them. Led by Rhys Tillemans and the entire Tillemans family Forrestfield are an emerging teams with eyes on 3rd spot on the ladder. Equally Vic Park will know that any slip will bring Kalamunda back into the equation for top spot. Vic Park have too much to play for and too much talent and expect they will get the job done.
