All happening as we head into the round 13 fixtures. The Mounters leading the field and have a big one as they head to Manning on Friday night. Only 1 point separates the next 3 all fighting it out for the double chance in the finals while Basso and the Saints do still have a glimmer of hope. Who gets relegated out of the bottom 3 is anyone’s guess but let’s have a gander at the fixtures.

Match of the round and it’s a Friday night clash with the top of the table Mounters heading over to take on Manning. Huge win for them last week pretty much ending the Saints hopes of finals and will be looking to do the same to the Eagles. They will be looking for payback as they did lose at home to Manning in their first clash. For the Eagles pretty much every game from now is a final, if they lose this they will be relying on one of the top teams to lose to keep them in the hunt. Cody Packer is out with the Trans-Tasman series, but Will Hyatt comes back in. This one will be a ripper and could easily go either way but it’s the home side for me
Manning 6-2

W Neilson, R Ellis, G Stokes, D Snelgar INS: D Rhodes, M Watson, A Southern OUTS: J Krstic, B Roper, Davies
Big game for both these teams as Sorrento hosts Bassendean. Sorrento only have 2 more home games after this, and I feel if they were to lose this one, they will most likely be heading down to white next season. For the Lions plenty of changes have been made, Steve Jocelyn retains his spot, Al Southern comes in making his debut who also has plenty of experience in premier. With both teams struggling for form anyone could win this one but I’m going to go the home side to keep their premier league hopes alive.
Sorrento 6-2
NORTH BEACH v DOUBLEVIEW

Doubleview who are only 1 point out from second head over to Nth Beach looking for as many points as possible and to continue their good form. Nth Beach have won their last 2 games at home and if they can get the job done today it could see them back out of the beef. I think Nth Beach could sneak this one I’m going for the home side to cause an upset.
Nth Beach 6-2
OSBORNE PARK v CAMBRIDGE

P Harris, A Drayton, N Lewis, A Tennant INS: M Sweeney, G Allen OUTS: B Nairn, D Leeson
The Saints now with it all to do ahead of them as they take on the Knights at home. The Saints would be very disappointed with the last couple of weeks, and now need to win them all to be any chance of playing in the finals. For Cambridge they just survived a close one against Joondalup and are now with Blake Nairn for the remainder of the season. Mick Sweeney now takes the reigns with Gillingham in as his 3. Jack East comes back into the line-up, it’s a must win.
Osborne Park 6 -2

Our final game of the round sees the Millers hosting the Dolphins. Sth Perth sitting within touch of top spot will be looking for another solid performance on their home track. Bresland takes back on the skipper’s role while John Carter returns to play 3 for Pauling. The Dolphins will give themselves a real chance here after almost beating Cambridge, and a win today will keep them out of the danger zone for another week. The Millers are going just a bit too good to back against and should be able to get the job done today.
