An interesting round of fixtures coming up in Round 4. We have 6 teams all on 1 win and each will be desperate for points to avoid losing touch with the top 4. Interestingly 4 of those teams (Thornlie, Rockingham, Fremantle and Dalkeith) come up against teams that have recorded 2 or more wins. The other match sees South Perth come up against Forrestfield so the shape of the ladder could be very interesting come Saturday evening. Good Luck to everyone over the weekend.

Match of the round in what should be a real test for ladder leader Kalamunda away at Thornlie. Kalamunda have taken all before them in a strong start to the season but will need to produce their best if they are to claim another win. Thornlie seem a different team at home and will know how important a win would be to really get the season started. Yatesy will get them fired up but I think the class of Kalamunda will shine thru in the end and I will be tipping them in a close match.
Kalamunda 6-2
ROCKINGHAM v VICTORIA PARK CARLISLE

M Adams, G Beckwith, J Jermalinski, M White
D Florance, M Simms, P Freund, C McKay INS: A Daley, P Long OUTS: B Twist, G Archell
Another interesting match down at Rockingham. Vic Park will go in as favourites after a tremendous performance last weekend. No Ben Twist this week and The Godfather will take back his rink. Rockingham were dominant over Fremantle and really took it up to Kalamunda last weekend and seem to be in very solid form. They will know that this is a winnable match for them and despite the class of Such and Wishart I’m tipping Rockingham at home.
Rockingham 6-2
KARDINYA v FREMANTLE

Geoff White back in this week for Kardinya and steps straight into the skipper’s chair. Kardinya have been solid so far this season but will have been disappointed with no points down at Warnbro last Sunday. Fremantle have made a slow start to the season mainly due to massive player turnover but did record their first win on Sunday over Thornlie. However Kardinya on their home deck are a very tough proposition and I see them recording a comfortable victory over Fremantle on Saturday.
Kardinya 7-1
DALKEITH NEDLANDS v WARNBRO
DALKEITH NEDLANDS
L Richardson, R Moran, D Fitzgerald, R Kelly
M Saunders, M Green, A Gryta, J Shaw
J Brown, M Zusman, J Morgan, B Owen
A Foster, D Redeckis, P Jeanes, M Joyce INS: A Gryta, B Owen OUTS: T Allen, S Gazia
WARNBRO
J Radford, M Jaworski, B Taylor, D Kitson
T Dellar, M Wilson, B Regan, D Kimberley
B Kalinowsky, D Watson, T Goodman, D Fitzpatrick
Dr G Jackson, A Henneker, T Ball, P Hartnett INS: M Wilson, D Kitson OUTS: K Cousens, S Christie
Dalkeith finding the going tough back in Blue South and will need to dig deep this week in an effort to get their season back on track. Warnbro have made a solid start after coming down from One White and prospered on Sunday with all 8 points against Kardinya at home. So they enter this fixture in good form and are presented with a great opportunity to record their first away win of the season. The Dalkeith team looks a little stronger this week with Alek Gryta returning and Bill Owen coming across from Mosman Park. Dalkeith will throw everything at Warnbro and I am tipping them to get home in a close one.
Dalkeith 6-2
SOUTH PERTH v FORRESTFIELD
SOUTH PERTH
M McRae, B Roelefs, R Negus, J Terrell
S Kelly, F Anderson, M Petrich, W Skuza
D Mortley, W Bezant, D Reagan, G Bovell
P Holmes, G Reagan, T Percival, K Pride INS: W Skuza, G Bovell OUTS: S Masterson, T Reid
FORRESTFIELD
J Weppner, B Barnfield, R Carr, F Gore
C Holland, M Garner, J Forrest, H Rabey
R Tillemans, M Vatri, L Stedman, L Delcaro
R Cummings, T Tillemans, T Gedge, J Tillemans INS: T Gedge, J Tillemans, H Rabey OUTS: J Parker, B Guerin, G Tillemans
Two teams with one victory each so an important match for both clubs. Forrestfield have started the season pretty well but unfortunately they ran into the Twist train on Sunday and do not have a lot to show for their efforts. The South Perth skippers in McCrae, Kelly, Mortley and Holmes are very experienced and helped them record their first victory of the season at home on Sunday. This should be a fight all the way but have to go with the home team to bring up win number 2 for the season.
