With the doubleheader round done and dusted its back to normality, some interesting results took place but let’s have a closer at the round 4 fixtures for this week.

OUTS: W Hyatt, D Downey, M Walker, N Jones

Match of the round here and we see the top of the table against the defending premiers. Mt Lawley going great guns sitting on top as the only team undefeated thus far. For the Eagles they had their first hiccup for the season losing at home to the Lions. Some ins and outs for the Eagles with Shane Knott returning and for the first time this season Lewis Grigg comes back straight into a skippers role. This one should be a beauty and could go either way but I’m going to pick the home side to continue their winning way.
Mt Lawley 6-2

The View with a mixed bag last week losing at home then getting the points away and will be looking to get back to business this week. Nth Beach opening their account with a home win last week but it’s the away games that are always the big test for them. With no changes for the home side so I’m picking a clean sweep
Doubleview 8-0

CAMBRIDGE v OSBORNE PARK

CAMBRIDGE
C Harris, S Rushforth, A Garlick, G Allen
B Nairn, M Sweeney, R Bolton, J Conway
C Adams, B Gillingham, D Jones, P Potts

S Mawdsley, T Alberti, T Weir, T Massang
R Brown, S Pasalich, C Schell, K Carr
INS: No changes
OUTS:

Cracker of a game here with the Knights at home taking on the Saints. Cambridge 1 and 1 last week and will be looking for a win here to get them back into the 4. For the Saints they found themselves on the wrong side of 2 close encounters and a loss here sees them go further into the pack and in trouble early in the season. I won’t tip against the Knights too often especially at home however I’m going to go with the Saints to dig deep and find something here and get their first win for the season
Osborne Park 6-2

JOONDALUP v SOUTH PERTH

JOONDALUP
S Davies, C Leggett, B Crawford, S Niven
W Neilson, S Deering, M Korycin, F Tyson
B Leggett, P Daley, P Kain, W Clayworthy
S Rixom, J Groves, C Bell, J Hunter
INS: No changes
OUTS:

SOUTH PERTH
R Bresland, R Havercroft, J Galipo, S West
S Walker, M Biglin, N Griffin, O Dawson
P Davies, J Carter, L Moretti, D Angell
J Opie, M Sear, J Wardrop, J Percival
INS: P Davies
OUTS: G Pauling

Sth Perth coming off back-to-back wins last week and will be confident to make it 3 in a row when they head over to Joondalup. Paul Davies comes back to make his skipping debut for the Millers as Glenn Pauling heads back over to New Zealand. For the Dolphins they really need a win before they get too far back and would be hoping to get the job done this week. However I think the margin will be close but I’m going the hattrick for the Millers.
Sth Perth 6-2

BASSENDEAN v SORRENTO - Saturday 3pm

BASSENDEAN
D Rhodes, J Krstic, R Ellis, L McKay
R Kenyon, M Whitely, B Roper, B Tie
T Kinnane, T Antonio, S Alden, M Watson
W Neilson, L Pike, G Stokes, D Snelgar
INS: No changes
OUTS:

SORRENTO
C Lander, R Cunningham, S Buckley, G Bayne
R Butler, S Loftus, M Sharrett, P Morgan
B Eagles, M Hulbert, P Crow, G Taylor
P Knight, P Augustson, P Flack, S Mortimer
INS: B Eagles
OUTS: G Murray

Very impressive last week from the Lions with wins over the Saints and the Eagles in a convincing manner. They will be looking for 3 in a row when they return to the den this week. For Sorrento disaster struck losing both but welcomes back Bruce Eagles into the side. Only positional changes for the Lions with Troy Kinnane and Tom Antonio going to skip and 3rd while Mr Bowls360 Simon Alden drops back to playing two. 3pm start for this one and should be a ripper game, it’s the Lions for me
Bassendean 6-2
