Match of the round without a doubt with first placed Kalamunda taking on the 3rd placed Kardinya. Kalamunda beautifully led by Perth Suns coach and WA player Bill Brandsma who has been sharing some of the secrets he has been learning as a high performance coach. As an example Brandsma has introduced some of the following changes to help the performance of the Kalamunda side:
- All players are now required to have a 15 minute ice bath post game before heading for home
- Limited alcohol consumption post game to help speed up recovery and
- Some nutritious post game snacks replacing the traditional sausage sizzle.
Needless to say these changes have been extremely well received by all players. Kardinya are also going along nicely and have already defeated South Perth away from home this season. They will be very competitive but Kalamunda just look too strong at home and should win this match comfortably.
Kalamunda 7-1
FREMANTLE v DALKEITH NEDLANDS

Another critical game for both teams. Dalkeith going along steadily with 2 wins whist Fremantle have made a slow start to the season with just one win to date. Fremantle will be desperate for a win at home to try and get their season back on track. Despite some considerable changes to their side at the start of the season they still retain the core of a pretty good team. A lot will depend on the form of talisman Dinko Golem, probably the best stalker of a bowl going around. Maybe not quite the same as he was at his peak but a brilliant tippy toe action creeping up behind the bowl urging it on. Word has it that his regular 3rd Jim Stewart now has his own stalk happening. Dalkeith have made a pretty good start with 2 wins at home. They will need to start to win some away matches and this represents a great opportunity for them. Not really sure who to tip in this one so will go for the home team in a close one.
Fremantle 6-2

Vic Park back at home this week after a very strong win at Rockingham last Saturday. The season looks to be coming together nicely with star skippers Wishart and Such both in good form and leading the way. Thornlie on the other hand look to be underperforming and their chances will not be helped this week with the absence of leading skipper Eddie Gollan. The away record of Thornlie is not good and it is very hard to see them getting the points this week. I think Vic park will get this one done pretty easily in the end.
Vic Park 7-1

Forrestfield has been pretty competitive throughout the season but have just one win to show for their efforts. Rockingham has also looked good in most matches but will have been disappointed to lose at home last Saturday against Vic Park. Both teams will be keen to bounce back but unfortunately for Rockingham they will be without their leading skipper, Mciiveen for this weeks match. On that basis I see Forrestfield putting win number 2 on the board and get their season back on track.
Forrestfield 7-1

Interesting match between 2 teams both sitting mid table on 2 wins each. South Perth look to be on the improve with victories in their previous 2 matches.
Warnbro with the biggest home ground advantage in One Blue will be looking to put win number 3 on the board after a disappointing day at Dalkeith last Saturday. It is very hard to tip against them and I simply cannot see them dropping this game. Warnbro pretty comfortably in the end
