Another interesting round of fixtures await us this weekend
Just 3 matches in the lead up to the Xmas break with every point now crucial
The gap between 4th placed Dalkeith and bottom of the ladder Fremantle is just 7 points so not a lot of margin for error
Good Luck to everyone

One change for each side this week in what will be an important match for both clubs. Kardinya started the season with a bang but have been off the boil for the past couple of games and have slipped to 5th place on the ladder. Forrestfield sit in 8th place but as a rule have been very competitive in most matches they have played. Forrestfiled need to be winning their home games to move away from the danger zone and will realise the importance of this match. Kardinya have an experienced side and this should be a very tight match but at home I think Forrestfield at home will get over Kardinya late and record a narrow victory.
Forrestfield 6-2

Our new premiership favourites take on an improving Dalkeith outfit in another important match this week. Vic Park now on a roll with 5 on the trot and my Vic Park spy tells me that whilst they are not getting ahead on themselves they are already making arrangements for a celebratory dinner for late March with an invitation headed “Welcome Back to One White”. However they should not take the Dalkeith team lightly given a good win last week over the previously undefeated Kalamunda. Dalkeith, however yet to win an away game this season and if they are going to survive in one blue this would be the perfect week to start. The recent addition of Louie Beurteaux to the Vic Park lineup has really improved their team and at home expect Vic Park to make it 6 wins in a row.
Vic Park 7-1
ROCKINGHAM v THORNLIE

M Yates, G Vaughan, J Thorn, A Williams
M Separovich, J Stean, C Penaluna, D Cooper INS: No changes OUTS:
Thornlie got their season back on track last week with an important win at home to get themselves off the bottom of the ladder. The loss of Eddie Gollan is however, a big blow to them and a player of his quality is hard to replace. Rockingham also came away with the points away from home in what was a really impressive win last week. Rockingham building into the season nicely and they go in to this weeks match as favourites. Probably not a lot separating both teams and the result will probably come down to a couple of shots here and there. At home I expect that Rockingham to get the points.
Rockingham 6-2
KALAMUNDA v WARNBRO
KALAMUNDA
I Cornthwaite, D Park, B Farrant, D Connell
W Olive, A Bartlett, P Townsend, M Thomas
D Wooltorton, G Trevaskis, G McDonald, B Solly
B Brandsma, M Gill, A Brandsma, M Clancy INS: P Townsend OUTS: S Anning
WARNBRO
G Watts, J Radford, B Taylor, S Christie
T Dellar, B McDougall, B Regan, D Kimberley
B Kalinowsky, D Watson, M Jaworski, L Kellow
Dr G Jackson, A Henneker, T Ball, P Hartnett INS: D Watson, B Taylor, D Kimberley OUTS: D Fitzpatrick, K Cousens, D Kitson
Match of the round with 2nd placed Kalamunda taking on 3rd placed Warnbro. Kalamunda will be smarting after their 1st defeat of the season and will be itching to get back on the winners list. Warnbro fell over the line by just one shot last week at home in a somewhat uncharacteristic home performance. Warnbro setting out a first light for the trip to Kalamunda but have a feeling that the drive home could be an even longer one. This could get ugly and expect a very comfortable victory for Kalamunda
Kalamunda 8-0
FREMANTLE v SOUTH PERTH

What a clash this should be at Fremantle this week. Despite sitting on the bottom of the ladder the recent performances from Fremantle have been pretty good. A comfortable win over Dalkeith at home followed by a narrow 1 shot loss away at Warnbro. South Perth have been struggling little of late and have been forced to make 3 changes to their team from last week. Dean Calvo is a good addition but they also lose 3 very good players. Yet to see the Fremantle side but given the away record of South Perth I expect Fremantle at home will continue building into their season and will prove too strong on Saturday.
