Summer is officially here and we are winding down the last few weeks before the Xmas break. We are starting to see a gap between the top and bottom 5 so lets get right into it and have a look at this weeks fixtures
MOUNT LAWLEY v SOUTH PERTH

S Walker, M Biglin, N Griffin, O Dawson
J Carter, S Kelly, L Moretti, D Angell
J Opie, M Sear, J Wardrop, J Percival INS: No change OUTS:
Ripper game here with these 2 sides as Mt Lawley hosts the Millers who have now jumped into the top spot. Mt Lawley sees Guy Herriot back in for Andy Elmer and although just out of the 4 a win here should see them back in. No changes for the Millers and will be confident after previous success there that they can do it again. Another switcheroo of home venues so there’s going to be plenty of away games for Mt Lawley and I’m lead to believe that this is now a Friday night game but I’m going to take the away side in a close one
Sth Perth 6-2
NORTH BEACH v CAMBRIDGE
NORTH BEACH

B Nairn, M Sweeney, J Conway, R Bolton
C Adams, B Gillingham, D Jones, P Potts
P Harris, A Drayton, L Strahan, L Bolton INS: M Sweeney OUTS: D Leeson
Nth Beach managing a couple of away points last week but its looking like once again their future in the comp relies on winning at home. Joe McGinlay comes back in which will be a huge plus for them. The Knights after a win last week sees Mick Sweeney back into the line up alongside Brad Gillingham both former players will play a major role, they will be looking to cement their spot in the 4 with a win here. Never easy to get points at Nth Beach but there’s just too much depth here for me in the Knights
Cambridge 7-1
DOUBLEVIEW v BASSENDEAN
DOUBLEVIEW
A Williams, A Wetzler, G Faulkner, M Hansen
C Slavich, R Bates, B Willesee, G Nelson
R Moyle, B White, B Conway, B Pearce

T Kinnane, T Antonio, S Alden, M Watson
W Neilson, L Pike, G Stokes, D Snelgar INS: No change OUTS:
Match of the round here as the View return home this week and will be looking to continue their winning way as the host the Lions. A quick in and out for John Slavich as Russel Bates makes his return. No changes for the Lions and now have 2 games on the road and they will be wanting to win at least 1 of these 2. The Lions are playing with a lot of confidence, but I can’t go against Doubleview on their home track
Doubleview 7-1
SORRENTO v OSBORNE PARK
SORRENTO

J Goddard, K Pickering, G Caffell, C Alberti
S Mawdsley, S Pasalich, A Pasalich, T Massang
R Brown, T Alberti, C Schell, K Carr INS: No change OUTS:
This one for me gets a sneaky match of the round as it’s a massive game for both. The loser of this one will have some work to do to push for the finals. Sorrento the home side here would really be wanting this win one. For the Saints they won a triller at home last week and have been the more consistent of the 2 teams although next to nothing separates them and go in with the same line up. Not overly confident but im going the home side.
Sorrento 5-3
MANNING v JOONDALUP

C Leggett, J Groves, T Vlahos, C Bell INS: S Davies, M Cheesman OUTS: S Rixom, S Niven
The Eagles a bit up and down the last few weeks but will be looking to get their home record back on track as the host newcomers the Dolphins. Stein Davies back into the side for the Dolphins while Shane Rixom is out. Manning haven’t been flash at home which may give the away side a glimmer of hope but nope, not today
