Last week of the first half of the season and we have some absolute cracker games. A win for the Knights will see them finish on top while top 4 spots are up for grabs for the next 6 teams. At the other end Nth Beach will finish the first half at the bottom while the 2 teams above them battle it out to get out of the beef. So with all that being said lets get fair dinkum and look at this weeks match ups
BASSENDEAN v MOUNT LAWLEY

D Rowland, T Ingram, A Elmer, K Scott
D Trewhella, S Loftus, P Sinden, A Graham INS: T Ingram, M Masel, A Einfeld OUTS: P Park, C Ruwoldt, L Kelly
Straight into it and what a game we have here as the 3rd placed Lions take on Mt Lawley who is 2nd. The Lions after their hiccup last week need to put that behind them as they welcome back Neilson into the side. Mt Lawley after their great win against the Veiw are strengthened with the return of Masel, Ingram and Einfeld. Top spot could be up for grabs here depending on how the Knights go with the loser most likely to finish out of the 4. The greens at the den should be running quite slick so I’m tipping the home side to bounce back
Bassendean 6-2
DOUBLEVIEW v CAMBRIDGE
DOUBLEVIEW

C Slavich, R Bates, B Willesee, G Nelson
R Moyle, B White, B Griffiths, B Pearce

B Nairn, M Sweeney, J Conway, R Bolton
C Adams, B Gillingham, D Jones, P Potts
P Harris, A Drayton, L Strahan, L Bolton INS: A Tennant OUTS: G Allen
Match of the round for me this one as we see Doubleview hosting top side in Cambridge. The Knights going great guns and a win for them will see them finish the first half of the season on top. For Doubleview who normally have a very good home record have only won 1 game at home thus far and after a bad couple of weeks will really want to win this one. With that being said John Slavich makes his return to play 3 for Ant Williams which is a massive plus for the side. I’m going to go the home side to dig deep and finish off with a win.
Doubleview 6-2
NORTH BEACH v MANNING

The Eagles after a couple of good wins at home are back on the road to take on Nth Beach. They currently sit in 5th position but only by 1.5 points so a good win here today will most likely see them back in the 4. Nth beach are in all sort of heck and have only managed 3 points since their round 2 win. Big losses at home now are really hurting them and I can’t see them hanging on next season. The Eagles won’t want to take them easy as the are capable of anything at home but its Manning for me.
Manning 7-1
SOUTH PERTH v OSBORNE PARK
SOUTH PERTH
R Bresland, R Havercroft, J Galipo, S West
S Walker, M Biglin, N Griffin, O Dawson
J Carter, P Davies, L Moretti, D Angell
J Opie, M Sear, J Wardrop, J Percival INS: P Davies OUTS: S Kelly
OSBORNE PARK

K Pickering, R Brown, G Caffell, C Alberti
S Mawdsley, S Pasalich, A Pasalich, T Massang
J Goddard, T Alberti, C Schell, K Carr INS: No change OUTS:
Another belter here with the Millers hosting the Saints. The Millers losing top spot after last week but will be looking to finish off with a win here. Paul Davies comes back into the side as Steve Kelly heads back to blue. No changes for the Saints and a win for them today could see them jump the Millers and a big chance of a top 4 spot. They have a pretty good record here do the Saints and it’s a flip of the coin but I’m going to take the visitors in a close one.
Osborne Park 6-2
SORRENTO v JOONDALUP
SORRENTO
C Lander, R Rogers, B Lucas, M Sharrett
R Butler, R Cunningham, I Munro, S Mortimer
B Eagles, M Hulbert, P Crow, G Taylor
P Knight, S Buckley, P Flack, G Murray INS: C Lander, I Munro OUTS: P Augustson, P Morgan
JOONDALUP
C Leggett, J Hunter, S Niven, F Tyson
W Neilson, M Korycin, E Dardango, M Cheesman
B Leggett, S Deering, P Kain, W Clatworthy
S Rixom, J Groves, P Daley, C Bell INS: S Deering, E Dardango OUTS: S Davies, T Vlahos
We head to the other end of the ladder now but a big game here for both sides with the loser finishing the first half in the beef. The Dolphins after their first home win last week will give themselves a real good chance today to go back to back wins. Sorrento have been very disappointing and basically this is a must win for them as Lander comes back into the line up. I reckon the away side will bring a bit of noise but I’m going the home team.
