Top dogs vs the cellar dwellers in what looks a mismatch but I think this could closer than expected. Kalamunda has answered pretty much every challenge this season but they will know that any slight slip up brings a resurgent Kardinya side back in with a chance to steal back top spot. At home they will be warm favourites but Dalkeith have been thereabouts in recent weeks and will take some confidence from last weeks win at home over Cockburn. But can they contain the Brandsma rink - I’m not sure that they can so will tip Kalamunda in a close one.
Kalamunda 6-2

David Horniman, John Fitzgerald, Mark Armstrong, Craig Edson INS: Hynynen, Feszczak OUTS: O'Brien, Harvey
Huge game for both teams - another loss at home from Warnbro and it could be curtains for this season. They would have pencilled this one in as a win come the start of the season but their recent form has been very poor. They have made 3 changes and will this give them the spark they need. Rossmoyne very much up and down all season and they will know that a win in this one would be critical to getting out of the bottom 4 come season’s end. Warnbro need Kalinowsky and the good Dr G to inspire them this week but will it be enough. With Mayor Lang in top form along with experienced skippers Petchell, Edson and Reza this could be Rossmoyne’s moment but who to tip.
Warnbro 6-2

Fred Smith, Marcus Weston, Victor Arriagada, Lindsay Atkins
Keith Fyles, Tony Threlfall, Kim Tremlett, Marcus Simpson INS: McMahon, Tremlett OUTS: Rubery, Currie
A quiet week for the Cockburn selectors with only 3 changes this week. hopefully they have a more settled side now and they can things back on track at home where they are yet to drop a match. Rockingham on the rebound after a surprise loss last week at home against Willetton but they will have their work cut out this week. Of some concern is the absence of the talented Currie from this week’s line up. I thought a few weeks ago that Rockingham might even push Kalamunda but that is now in severe doubt. Have to tip the home team this to get things back on track
Cockburn 7-1
Willetton v Kardinya
Willetton
Ron Bayens, Rob Langley, David Reynolds, Cameron Girvan
Peter McSweeney, Ernest Lagana, Ken Monkhouse, Alan Walters
Rhonda Porter, Greg McMahon, Peter Bartoshefski, Gavin Dodge
John Porter, Maxwell Strange, Trevor Thompson, Justin Wright INS: No change OUTS:
Kardinya
Malcolm Farmer, Jack Edgar, Hugo Vriezen, Ross Knapp
Brian Wright, Marcus Ayres, Paul Harris, John Rochford
Gerard Donaldson, Les Phillips, Anthony Cocodis, Norm Ball
Dave Wood, Peter Larard, Darryl Flintoff, Bradley Henley INS: Farmer, Ayres OUTS: Monteiro, Gale
Definitely our match of the round with both teams pushing for finals action come seasons end. Willetton perhaps somewhat of a surprise packet but pretty much every game they are hard to knock off. The introduction of the Henley/Flintoff combination has made a huge difference for Kardinya as evidence by a massive victory from them last week. A bit like the Brandsma rink - who can control them but if Willetton can find a way they will rate themselves a great chance of winning this one. Willetton on form probably go in as slight favourites and I think that they might get away with this one at home in a close one.
Willetton 6-2
Forrestfield & Districts v Thornlie
Forrestfield & Districts
Laurie Delcaro, Kirk Weissflog, Mark Vatri, Rhys Tillemans
Frank Gore, Alex Fewings, Corey Holland, Trent Tillemans
Jack Tillemans, John Forrest, Robert Carr, Glenn Sewell
David Croft, Lee Stedman, Sandra Young, Jarad Weppner INS: Holland OUTS: Pringle
Thornlie
Glyn Vaughan, John Thorn, Jim Stean, Owen Perryman
Coral Thorn, Darryl Fielder, Michael McGann, Mark Separovich
Harrison Mayers, Wayne Wendt, James (jimmy) Mitchell, Mark Forrester
Arthur Payne, Pasquale Riggio, Clive Penaluna, Robert Carruthers INS: Thorn, Mayers OUTS: Slade, Edgley
Thornlie has the edge here in terms of ladder position but Forrestfield are at home and I think just as good as the Thornlie side. Forrestfield much like Warnbro earlier need to win this one and give them hope of getting out of the bottom 4. They have been good in patches and will need their A game to win this one. Thornlie has also played a bit in patches but tend to bring their best game for home fixtures. Another close one but Forrestfield should be a fraction too good and come away with a much needed victory.
