Skippers records read as NAME (Win,Loss,Draw)
Two thirds of the way through and we are now getting to the business end of the season. We have some big games including a Friday night where the Eagles host the leaders. The top 4 hasn’t changed since round 8 but pending on results that could all change this week. Lets get into it and look at the matchups.

Match of the round and it’s a Friday night clash with the top of the table Mounters heading over to take on Manning. The Eagles only just hanging onto 4th spot really need to win this one as their finals hopes could be in trouble especially as they have to head to Sth Perth next week. The Mounters although had a hiccup last week managed to have results go their way to extend their lead and a win today will pretty much seal top spot. With the visitors undefeated on the road and having ex Manning experience in Knott and Trewhella I think they will get the chocolates
Mt Lawley 7-1

After knocking off the leaders last week the Saints head back home to take on the Millers. The Saints have got themselves right back into the mix and I think a win today would get them back into the 4. Just as big for the Millers as a win could get them into second spot but could also fall out of the 4 with a loss. Toss of the coin this but im just going to go with the home side.
Osborne Park 6-2

8th vs 9th as Sorrento host the Cats. Sorrento after a good start have once again fallen away in the second half and currently have the worst home record in the comp. They haven’t won at home since round 5 and should the Cats cause an upset and get 7 points they will be in the beef and fighting to survive again. Kardy would really love to win this one and can give themselves every chance to hanging on to premier if they can get the job done. Big game for both but I got to go the home side
Sorrento 7-1
Safety Bay v Cambridge
Safety Bay
David Smith, David Newton, Damian Kitson, Grant Taylor (1W ,9L ,0D)
Irene Arndt, Christopher Owen, Robert Parr, Stephen Hide (5W ,5L ,0D)

Safety Bay back home to take on the Knights this week. The Bay are looking to make it 3 in a row at home and this week have called the services of former commonwealth games silver medallist and icon of the game Roma Dunn. The Knights have got their season back on track but are yet to win on the road. Pieter Harris comes back into the line up and a win today should see them close to getting into the 4. I don’t think winning at home will be enough for the Knights so they really need to win this one but with the way the Bay have been at home recently I think they can make it 3 in a row and cause another upset to one of the heavy hitters.
Safety Bay 6 -2
Doubleview v Bassendean
Doubleview
Gary Nelson, Ben Willesee, Addy Wetzler, Charles Slavich (96W ,54L ,6D)
Blair Griffiths, Ben Conway, Bradley White, Ryan Moyle (85W ,45L ,3D)

Bassendean
Norman Kirkup, Eugene O'Sullivan, Matthew Whitely, Ruairi Kenyon (18W ,22L ,2D)
Phillip Hutchinson, Grant Stokes, Russell Ellis, David Rhodes (64W ,66L ,5D)
Scott Bermingham, Matthew Watson, Linton Pike, Stein Davies (116W ,109L ,17D)
Lloyd McKay, Garry Atkinson, Wesley Neilson, Simon Alden (63W ,55L ,5D) INS: Atkinson, Davies OUTS: Way Neilson, Colgate
Our final game of the round and its another beauty as the View take on the Lions. Big part of the draw for Doubleview as they take on all 4 top sides in 4 weeks. Kyle McIlroy comes back in and a good win today will close the gap and keep their finals hopes alive. Bassendean after a bad couple of weeks are just hanging onto 2nd spot and really cant afford another loss as it could knock them out of the 4. They do have a couple out but will go in confident as they did beat them 8 zip the last time they played here. Doubleview have to win to keep their season going and I think they will do so.
