Only 2 weeks remain with 3 games left. The next fortnight will revel many surprises, upsets & finally an outcome after 18 Rounds of head to heads & plenty of postering. We’re 15 days out, there’s no more time for idle chat, waffle, debate on who should be in or out….its show up or shut up.

Yes it’s 4th v 7th but there’s only 3pts between these sides so the winner here knocks the other out of Finals. Mossies lose this & it’ll be a tough final fortnight. They don’t have the worst final few games so they’re within a chance.
The Saints absolutely need to will this as they’ve the horrible run home against the top 2. Even winning this they’d need to beat 1 of the top 2 to guarantee Finals
Osborne Park 6 - 2

If the Eagles dream of Finals been 2.5pts off the Saints then it’s likely 3 in a row needed from here. And with a big Agg in R16, it might be only 2.5 aggs needed if they can snag all 8pts.
Could North Beaty grab a 2nd away win for the season? Anything is possible but after dropping a valuable home Agg last week it’ll be difficult against a side who defend well at home, albeit not produce massive margins so North Beaty are not without a chance but it’s slim. A loss here rules out North Beach from Finals for me & an Eagles win makes Finals a possibility given Ossie Pks tough run home.
Joondalup
Barry Crawford, Eugene Dardengo, Jon Hunter, James Buchanan

GAME OF THE ROUND. GAME OF THE SEASON - this game could not be bigger!! There’s little more to say to build this game up….Winner takes all.
The Dolphins should have a red hot look at this Agg but the concern is their ability to win on the road.
The opposition holds true for Leeming where the Lions are tightened up their defence at home, making it an extremely tough game to call. If Vanders draws Rixom & wins then this goes with the Lions & with it a ticket to the Big Dance. Hopefully this game gets a huge crowd, it’s a genuine Blockbuster.
Leeming 6 - 2
Gosnells v Victoria Park Carlisle
Gosnells
Michael Byrne, Stephen Lawrence, Rod Worth, Rue Bishop
Ronald McKay, Alex Hodge, Maureen Cooney, Glenn Lynch
Ian Quayle, David Bradbury, Michael Sharpe, Trevor Close
Larry Paterson, Peter Gale, Mike Rickard, Mark Beauchamp INS: Worth, Sharpe OUTS: Gahan, Scott
Massive game for both sides & if the home side can grab 7pts here it could make the final 2 rounds extremely nervous for the Reds as they’ll be genuine 9th spot in need of help just to get to playoffs.
The loser of this is genuine 1 Blue material & at best would need to play 1 Blue just to survive. Really tough outcome for either side so not too many winners from this one with so much at stake. Tough one to call.
Gosnells 7 - 1
Bassendean v Cockburn

Mundy Carroll, Ivan Mateljak, Josip (joe) Marevic, Tony Krajancic
Brian Blagaich, Mirko Musulin, Dinko Golem, Michael Simunovic
Ian Coyne, Hal Chambers, Denis Bandy, William Tepania INS: Simunovich OUTS: Gibson
Could the Titans grab 3 on the road for the season?! Maybe but that would make them look like a normal side with an average away record. Unfortunately this is not the case as the Titans have a very poor away record.
In saying that & flipping the context to how Cockburn might feel would see them saying to each other….’well if we can’t beat the bottom side who are already denoted for a place in PL, then we simply won’t survive in PL’.
Basso have little to play for but if Gosnells beat Vic Pk & Basso get a big score then it could be possible that the final week goes into a 3 way playoff for the bottom 2 spots.
