The Home sides got their cream last week so should expect all away sides this weekend?! Unsure but you could make a solid case for probably 4 of the 5.
We always love FIGJAM R3, most teams & especially most selectors have the unlucky burden of hearing such bullish chat all through winter bowls of how amazing this or that person is spruiking their talent but if there’s no walk from the talk after 3 rounds, it’s fair to say you’re dropped & on good merit. Let’s see the results but invariably changes seem to occur in R4.

Gosnells v Osborne Park

Gosnells
David Bradbury, Rod Worth, Catherine Sharp, Eoghan Gahan
Michael Byrne, Mike Rickard, Maureen Cooney, Rue Bishop
Ronald McKay, Larry Paterson, Alex Hodge, Brett Holland
Jeff Watson, Peter Gale, Ian Quayle, Glenn Lynch
INS: Gale
OUTS: Close

Osborne Park
Jarrad Minchin, Richard Bennett, Kevin Price, Aaron Kriletich
Graeme O'Neill, George Smith, Pierre Geenacker, Neville Stevens
Richard Herbert, Bryan Hunter, Edan Manifis, Jeremy Thomas
Shaan Saunders, Helen Stevens, Pamela Chalmers, Shari Solly
INS: No changes
OUTS:

Gosnells have the rampant Saints at home & gladly so because if this was away it’s an easy prediction. Both spectrums of the table are represented here with 1 side running like the Artic & the other humming along cruising well above a comfortable room temperature. This will be a great test for the Saints as they should get over the line here given their solid start to the season. However, if the Kookaburra's go 0-3 then 4th game away to fellow strugglers Eagles, then it will be a hard road back. Their 2nd half to the front & back 9 games are super tough so if they don't pick up points in both 1st half then it's simply curtains from my viewpoint. Home team but only purely because they need to. On form its 100% Saints game to lose.

OUTS:

The bottom dwellers go head to head in an old school double points outcome. I would safely say that whoever loses this will circle the drain until at least Xmas making the 2nd half challenging. Both sides are disappointed with the first 2 games but Basso has probably shown a little more edge than Manning with less blow out rinks. Tough one to call but if the Lions drop this at home to the bottom side then it's massive red flags for the next 15 rounds. Yes there was only 4 shots in this game last season where Basso just got up at home but last season the Eagles were within Finals reach for most of the season. Interesting game as something has to change for either side & it starts here.
Bassendean 7 - 1

Cockburn v Leeming

Cockburn
Stephen West, Greg Collier, Michael Simunovic, William Tepania
Viktor Dropulic, Ivan Mateljak, Josip (joe) Marevic, Tony Krajancic
Dante Burnham, Brian Blagaich, Dinko Golem, Marc Abonnel
Denis Bandy, Paul Brotherston, Mark Barrett, Derek Gibson
INS: Dropulic, Brotherston
OUTS: Reale, A Burnham

Leeming
Anthony Williams, Brian Eather, Peter Boys, James Bowden
Alan Andersson, Lionel Mundri, Phil Dobie, James Newton
Noel Bennetts, Doug Johnson, Trevor Higham, Gary Ford
Wayne Birrell, Marcus Bowden, Paul Hickey, Karl Vandersluys
INS: No changes
OUTS:

The Titans were embarrassed away last week with a shcoking away performance when they know how much rides on those away games so they'll be fairly keen to come racing from the gates here. If the Lions can hold off that initial 1st 5 rounds barrage then they'll be in the game. The reality is it's 2nd playing 7th but its different playing the Titans at Cockburn although they got rolled last year so they are beatable. I just feel Kraj or Abonnel can run away with a big score here & have it over by the 15th end, could be wrong but I smell a blowout rink for the Lions.

Victoria Park Carlisle v Joondalup

Victoria Park Carlisle
John Hiskins, Kynan Johnston, Andrew Daley, Graeme Wishart
Charles McKay, Gregory Williams, Michael Simms, David Florance
Graham Archell, James Parry, Jonathan Jermalinski, Lee Such
Ken Rouse, Murray White, Patrick Keeffe, Gary Beckwith
INS: Rouse
OUTS: Gale

Joondalup
Hannes Louw, Eugene Dardengo, Michael Korycin, Jon Hunter
Shane Nelligan, Mark Ryan, Roy Humfrey, Barry Crawford
Brett Driscoll, Brian McMurdo, Paul Kain, James Groves
Matt Sharrett, Frank Tyson, Thomas Vlahos, Shane Ernest Rixom
INS: Ryan, Sharrett
OUTS: Cheesman, Louw

GAME OF THE ROUND: Easily game of the round with 2 top sides going head to head. The started the review with the Reds winning this one but a few of those R2 results are swaying my opinion to the Dolphins. I think if the Dolphins can get Rixom onto Wishart then this will give them every chance to manage the others. Yes it would be a surprise if the Dolphins grab this & the tip is 50/50 as I would absolutely expect the Reds to take this at home but there's a chance of an upset & if it happens Dolphins will put a gap on the rest over the next few rounds.
Joondalup 7 - 1

North Beach v Mosman Park

North Beach
Tui J Niwa, Garry Booker, Sean Niven, Steve Wood
Brent Fielding, Rhonda Prosser, Alan Howe, Geoffrey Devenish
Matthew Buttel, John Bartorillo, Steve Richards, Michael Sweeney
Jerome Clayton, Brent Palfrey, Richard Aitken, Gavin Crosthwaite
INS: Buttel, Howe
OUTS: McConnell, Douthie

Mosman Park
Mark Whiting, Robert Kershaw, Campbell York, Mitchell Cranswick
Nicholas Parker, Jeffrey Adams, Christine Ace-Watson, Lisa Featherby
Mario Van Bemmel, Jason Kop, Terry Cranswick, Steven Swanson
Aidan O'Sullivan, John Pallett, Damian Adams, Cameron Hoffman
INS: No changes
OUTS:

Similar to the above, where the home side just have to win this one but Mossies are travelling great & I feel they've come out with new energy this season with a few new additions. They were strong in R1 & even better in R2, so they might edge this one against a side struggling to find their home in 1 White.
Sorry I just checked Mossies away form & I might back down off that Mossie horse & switch over to the home side. Brain fade. Ok, let's start again. North Beach win this one based on the home track & the knowledge that their away form will get them little but Co2 emission into the environment, so they need to lock away the home ones or it's 1 Blue next season for a proud club.
