Very interesting match this one. Kardinya undefeated and stamping themselves as one of the 2 teams most likely to obtain top position and automatic promotion vs the recently promoted Cockburn who have a significant advantage at home. On reflection the home venue should not be too much bother for Kardinya who play their home matches under similar conditions. I think this will be very close but just slightly favour Kardinya to scrape thru with this one to remain undefeated.
Kardinya 6-2

Another interesting match between Willetton and Thornlie with a fair bit riding on this one. A Willetton win at home will see them sitting with 3 wins from their first 4 matches and well placed to push higher over the remaining rounds. Thornlie need a lift and would love to be 2 out of 4 come the end of round 4. Willetton has been the surprise pack so far this season and look to be a pretty solid team. Cameron Girvan a quality player and he is well supported by his lead, former Subi star Ron Bayens . Winning form is good form and I expect Willetton to walk away with the points in this one.
Willetton 7-1

The undefeated Kalamunda take on the sneaky good Rockingham side. It would be great to see Brandsma take on Marcus Simpson who I would suggest are the 2 best players in blue south. Rockingham’s best chance might be that Brandsma falls asleep part way thru the match following an exhaustive schedule of bowls as coach of the Perth Suns during the week. If this match was being played at Rockingham I might be tempted to back the home team but expect that Kalamunda at home will win this comfortably in the end to remain undefeated.

A must win match for both teams Warnbro coming off two poor defeats away from home and Dalkeith yet to register a win after 3 matches. It looks like Warnbro has sent out an SOS to the Patullo family with both Dennis and Jason back in tow this week. Deadly Dennis it seems is walking straight back into the skippers chair to replace Lindsay Strange who is unavailable this week. A big task but Deadly is a capable player at his best and is sure to acquit himself well. Dalkeith not helped by the absence of 2 back end players in Andrew Foster and Matt Green and need to find something special to try and get their season back on track. But the trip to Warnbro could be a bridge too far and expect Warnbro to get their season going again.
Warnbro 7-1

Mayor Lang would have been a relieved man on Saturday night post the Rossmoyne first win of the season. Rumours are that he allowed all players to let their hair down with a good evening of celebratory drinks well past closing time. However even though they have another home fixture this week they would be well advised not to ignore the Forrestfield threat this week. They returned to form with their first win also last week and they too will want win number 2. I’m expecting a close match but just lean towards the quality and experience of the Rossmoyne skipper’s to get them over the line in a close one
