Match of the season here with an undefeated Kalamunda taking on the strong Kardinya team with just one loss so far this season. The Kalamunda team looks slightly weaker on paper with the absence of Andrew Brandsma who has been a key part of an undefeated rink. Despite this the Kalamunda team has dealt with every challenge and they will know that a win in this one would leave them well placed to secure automatic promotion at the end of the season. I do however like the look of the Kardinya side. The inclusion of Danny Comrie has given them more depth and a narrow loss at Cockburn last week is no real concern. I think Kardinya at home will be up and about for this one and see them recording a good win on their home turf.
Kardinya 7-1

Rockingham return home and really do need a big win to get their season back on track. Rockingham have some class across their side but are still just off the pace of the top teams. Both teams seem to be able to win well at home but cannot get close to a win on the road. Could this be the week for Warnbro. The good Dr G certainly seems to think so - it is rumoured he has ordered a large batch of travel sick tablets for all players to take when they leave the club on Saturday. Despite this I think Rockingham will be far too good and record a comfortable win.
Rockingham 7-1

Big match for both teams but particularly for Thornlie at home. Cockburn has made a great start to the season and look at this point to have a bit of a home ground fortress. If they can pinch a couple of wins away from home they could be top 4 bound come season's end. Thornlie are hard to get a good gauge on but they clearly play better at home. A tough one to pick but I am going to go with Thornlie at home.

Willetton also making an extremely good fist of life in one blue south with a good start to the season. They seem capable a playing a pretty solid game both at home and away and this should stand them in good stead this season. Forrestfield are also a good side but have been a little inconsistent to start the season. The Tillemans boys are class players as is Jarad Weppner. Another tough one to call but I think Forrestfield at home have a lot to play for and I expect they will come away with a close win.

Dalkeith making heavy weather of it to this point. They did pinch 2 rink wins over Kalamunda at home a fortnight ago so cannot be underestimated. But Rossmoyne seem to be back in form and will fancy their chances for away win on Saturday. After a slow start to the season The Mayor has got things back on track and he remains ambitious and will still be looking at getting promotion back to One White. Dalkeith need a lift right across the board or they will be making up the numbers come the second half of the season. I expect another close match but expect Rossmoyne to have too much class in the end.
