Thank you Mr Bowls360 for filling in during my absence and we head into round 5 with some very good match ups. The Millers currently on top with the Mounters and the Lions hot on their tails. Our first game sees the Saints host the Cats. The Saints welcome Jack East back into the line up and will be looking to get the chocolates today. Kardinya are off to a very good start thus far sitting in the 4 and will give themselves a good chance of winning here today. The Saints need to win this one today and I think they will get the job done

Sorrento returning home this week to take on the Knights. After a great start to season Sorrento have lost the last couple but a win today should see them close to being back in the 4. The Knights are also 50/50 thus far as Drayton comes back in and Buchanan is out. Im yet to get Sorrento right this season and most likely will get it wrong again but im going to tip them this week
Sorrento 6-2

Paul Sinden, Kyle Cornell, Jeffrey Bessant, Corey Bessant (22W ,15L ,1D)
INS: Rowland, J Bessant
OUTS: Masel, Park

This one is the match of the round for me as the View host the Mounters. The Visitors sitting nicely just half a point shy of top spot while Doubleview are still in the beef. This game is huge for Doubleview, although its still early if they lose this they will most likely going to be 3 aggregates out of the 4 and it’s a long road ahead. The Mounters look good and with Bessant and Rowland coming back in I think they can sneak an away win here.
Mt Lawley 6-2

Safety Bay v Bassendean

Scott Bermingham, Phillip Hutchinson, Linton Pike, Wayne Neilson (30W ,42L ,9D)
INS: Pike
OUTS: Ellis

Must win game here for the Bay as they host the Lions. Im calling it now if Safety lose at home today they are goneski, I cant see them winning enough games to get out of the beef should they get beat at home again. Simon Alden with his mo says not only will I return to the skippers role but I'll take the top spot while I'm at it. Always a bit of a danger game heading to Safety Bay but I think the Lions will get the job done
Bassendean 6-2

Another beauty here and it’s a later start as the Eagles host the Millers. New Dad Blake Butler comes in for the first time this season and adds some strength for the home side. The Millers sitting nicely in top spot and will be looking to stay there with a win here today. I'm picking a close one but I think the Millers should be a bit too strong today
Sth Perth 6-2
