Skippers records read as NAME (Win,Loss,Draw)
As we reach the third way mark of the season we have some cracking games this week. We have a top of the table clash as the Lions host the Mounters, while Kardy hosts the world number 1 player in Aron Sherriff as they take on the Eagles. 7th vs 8th on the ladder and both on the same points as the Knights host the Saints. Bit of a surprise that these 2 are where they are on the ladder but remain not too far out from the 4. The Knights won’t want to lose this one being at home and the loser of this game will have some work to do but I gotta go with the home side
Cambridge 6-2

Big game for both sides here and should be a good game. The Bay while the aggregate was drawn last week the rinks was enough to chalk up their first win of the season. Sorrento if they can win today can close in considering the top 2 sides play each other. I think last week will give the home side some confidence and I think they can get a win here today.

Match of the round and it’s a top of the table clash as the Lions host the Mounters. The Lions can claim top spot if they can get 7 points at home today. These guys had a great battle last year but it was the visitors last year that walked away with a win. Would be great if we could get Alden v Leggett to do battle as the only 2 undefeated skippers for this one. Basso will want payback and this is anyones game but like last time im going to go with the visitors they look just a bit too strong.
Mt Lawley 6-2

Sth Perth returning home this week to take on Doubleview. After a close encounter last week they just fell short against the Eagles. A win today will most likely see them back in the top 2. Doubleview well they look in real trouble at the moment and another loss for them today will see them fall further behind. I cant see the pain easing for the visitors again this week it’s the Millers for me.
Sth Perth 7-1

Well what a treat this one is going to be as the Cats host the Eagles. Kardy have gained the GOAT of Australian bowls and multiple world champion Aron Sherriff for this encounter. The draw is done and Warren Holt has the tough task of taking him on. Manning just sit outside the 4 at the moment so points are important for them as they push to make the 4. Kardy only half a point behind them and I think will get the job done at home. I encourage everyone to get down to Kardy to see the best in the business
