Keith Fyles, Ashley McMahon, Stuart Currie, Marcus Simpson

Kardinya

Dave Wood, Brian Wright, Jack Edgar, Brett Adams
Michael Monteiro, Wayne Lee, Peter Larard, Hugo Vriezen
INS: Cocodis, Phillips, Larard
OUTS: Comrie, Vinci, West

Match of the round here for sure with a lot riding on the outcome of this one. Kardinya sit in 2nd place just 5 points clear of 3rd placed Rockingham so a 7-1 win to the home team would see them jump to 2nd position. Danny Comrie promoted to the Kardinya PL side for this round of fixtures and his absence will be a huge loss given his form to this point of the season. Rockingham have been promising all season and like most teams they are hardest to beat at home. With Marcus Simpson due for a big game and Comrie out I think Rockingham can take this one.
Rockingham 7-1

Dalkeith Nedlands v Thornlie

Peter Jeanes, David Fitzgerald, Michael Zusman, Jesse Brown
Ross Mackenzie, Ron Stapleton, Aleksander Gryta, Martin Saunders

Michael Joyce, John McCormack, Michael Yates, Lindsay Richardson
INS: Jesse Brown

Colin Edgley, James (jimmy) Mitchell, Terence McCormack, Jim Stean
John Walker, John Thorn, Glyn Vaughan, Mark Separovich
INS: Perryman, Fielder
OUTS: Coolen, Slade

Another interesting match up. After a slow start to the season Thornlie now sitting in 4th position whilst Dalkeith sit in 9th place on the table. Despite the ladder positions this has the makings of a good game. Dalkeith’s form has been on the improve after 4 straight losses to start the season. Two comfortable wins at home followed by a creditable effort away at Kardinya last week and they should be tough to beat at home. Thornlie typically do their best work at home and whilst they have a very capable team on paper I expect that Dalkeith will be too strong at home and come away with the points.
Dalkeith 6-2

Rossmoyne v Cockburn

Rossmoyne
David Horniman, John Fitzgerald, Peter Feszczak, Craig Edson
Geraldine Pensini, Peter Chappell, Anthony Churcher, Allan Petchell
Danny Nolan, Mark Armstrong, Grahame Maesepp, Walter Harvey
Gary Frampton, Eeva-Liisa Hynynen, Raymond Halse, Rawley Lang
INS: Fitzgerald, Armstrong
OUTS: Haddow, Vind

Cockburn

David Francis, Marin Sokol, Giuseppi Galipo, Steve Srhoy
Hal Chambers, Norman Beams, Brian Vidovich, James Wylie
Robert Erskine, Alfred Edwards, Denis Bandy, Peter Burgess
INS: Wray, Collier
OUTS: Yakas, Simms

Both teams sitting mid table with strong records at home but less so away from home. Rossmoyne are still a pretty formidable side on their day and they play the home conditions very well. Mayor Lang loves to set up his office at home and direct traffic something he does pretty well. Cockburn also looking good to this point of the season and whilst they are dominant at home they have also been competitive in most away fixtures. A Cockburn win would therefore not surprise me and if they want to move up a few places as the season progresses they will need to win the odd away fixture. Could this be the week - probably not and Rossmoyne to win in a close one.
Rossmoyne 6-2

Kalamunda v Willetton

Kalamunda
Mark Thomas, Gary McDonald, Arthur Bartlett, Dwayne Wooltorton
Trevor Price, Bob Farrant, Mark Potente, Frank Carbone
Michael Turner, Andrew Brandsma, Mark Gill, William Brandsma
Robert Chalmers, Colin Smeeton, David Park, Wayne Olive
INS: Price
OUTS: Maddy

Willetton
Ron Bayens, Rob Langley, David Reynolds, Cameron Girvan
Peter McSweeney, Ernest Lagana, Ken Monkhouse, Alan Walters
Rhonda Porter, Greg McMahon, Peter Bartoshefski, Gavin Dodge
John Porter, Maxwell Strange, Trevor Thompson, Justin Wright
INS: No changes
OUTS:

Top of the table Kalamunda take on the improving Willetton side. This could be a great opportunity for Kalamunda in that a loss for Kardinya and a win for them at home should see them open up a nice little break at the top of the table. But the Willetton side has generally been very competitive most weeks and they will try and take it to the top side as best they can. To get the Agg they need to find a rink that can handle the Brandsma side and so far this season many have tried and all have failed. Its hard to see this week being any different and Kalamunda should win comfortably in the end.
Kalamunda 7-1

Warnbro v Forrestfield & Districts

Warnbro
David Fitzpatrick, Thomas Watson, Danny Watson, Barry Kalinowsky
Paul Guelfi, William Baker, Dennis Pattullo, Jason Pattullo
Darryl Wagstaff, John Isgar, John Radford, Troy Dellar
Peter Hartnett, Terry Williams, Scott Christie, George Jackson
INS: D Watson, Guelfi
OUTS: Gibson, Wilson

Forrestfield & Districts
Frank Gore, Alex Fewings, Corey Holland, Trent Tillemans
David Croft, Lee Stedman, Sandra Young, Jarad Weppner
Laurie Delcaro, Kirk Weissflog, Robert Carr, Rhys Tillemans
Heath Rabey, Geoffrey Tillemans, John Forrest, George Tibbles
INS: G Tillemans
OUTS: Cummings

Forrestfield nearly pulled off a huge win last week against top of the table Kalamunda and just failed. So they should be in good form however the trip to Warnbro is another severe test. It wasn’t that long ago and Warnbro were in the PL and even in that grade they won pretty regularly at home. With Dr G in good form plus the Patullo dynasty also finding some good form I expect that Warnbro will come away with an easy win.
Warnbro 7-1
