Skippers records read as NAME (Win,Loss,Draw)
Final round before the Xmas break and we have some good match ups this week. Mt Lawley will head into the second round on top with the next 6 sides all a chance to finish in the top 4. At the other end we have the battle of the beef but let’s go through this weeks fixtures

INS: Flintoff
OUTS: Novak

After a couple of unsuccessful weeks on the road the Millers are back at home to take on the Cats. A couple of positional changes sees Antonio and Morss playing 3 with Nick Reagan also into the line up. They will be looking to finish off strongly and a good win should see them back into the 4. The Cats need to try and find a miracle here and it’s not looking good especially with Novak out this week. If they lose this one I think they are gunna find themselves in Beefville.
Sth Perth 8-0

OUTS:

Mt Lawley looking to finish off a great first half as they host the Knights. Cambridge it’s a big one for them, would love to get their first away win and can get back into the 4 if they can get the chocolates. However a loss here today and it’s going to be a tough road ahead to make finals. Mt Lawley at home I just can’t see them getting beaten
Mt Lawley 7-1

Philip Potts, Wade Clatworthy, Chris Leggett, Paul Knight (17W ,25L ,1D)
INS: No changes
OUTS:

Another big one to finish off for both sides as Manning host Sorrento. A win for the eagles today I think will see them go very close to finishing 2nd on the ladder and welcomes back Dave Downey into the line up. Sorrento after 2 home losses won’t want to finish off by losing this one and have made a couple of positional changes to their line up however it’s the home side for me.
Manning 6-2

Doubleview v Safety Bay

Ryan Newick, Robert Parr, John Brannan, Stephen Hide (3W ,3L ,0D)

Jim Hanafee, Gary Ogg, Peter Webster, Chris Carruthers (10W ,12L ,3D)
INS: Mortensen
OUTS: Hall

It’s the battle of the beef as the View hosts the Bay. Both sides have been there since the get go and I can’t see Kardy getting up this week so I think the winner of this one will finish off the first half out of the beef for the first time. Doubleview it’s a must win if they want to give themselves any hope of defending their flag. Ant Williams is out but Chevy will take the skippers role this week. Safety Bay really aren’t expected to win this one but again can play quite freely and cause some grief but I gotta go the View here.
Doubleview 8-0

OUTS: Brown

Bassendean

Lloyd McKay, Matthew Watson, Russell Ellis, Simon Alden (60W ,52L ,5D)
Norman Kirkup, Eugene O'Sullivan, Matthew Whitely, Ruairi Kenyon (16W ,18L ,2D)
Phillip Hutchinson, Grant Stokes, Wesley Neilson, David Rhodes (63W ,60L ,7D)
INS: No changes
OUTS:

Match of the round and what a beauty this one is going to be as the Saints host the Lions. The Lions going great guns and have really turned things around from last year and just need to get the aggregate today to finish off the first half 2nd on the ladder. Brown is out this week for the home side and sees Dale Marsland taking over the rink. The Saints can also finish in second spot with a win here today and this one really is a flip of the coin but I’m just going to go with the home side.
Osborne Park 6-2
