Massive round for all sides, yes the table is packed tighter than a pair of skinny jeans at connections but something will give soon as it can't stay this packed for much longer. Only 1 team Cockburn have currently won 2 games in a row & that's only because they actually played those last 2 at home. Everyone else is struggling to get a run going.
Joondalup looked unbeatable after R6 & now at tracking 3 from 6 with a disastrous few weeks. Mossies, Eagles & the Reds are 2 from the last 5 & the rest are not far behind.
How much will weather play a part in this Round? What are the chances that a few games get called off.....possible but we'll only know in a few hours what tomorrow's forecast looks like. There's some home sides that absolutely will not wish for >40c as it's their chance to grab a good 7 or 8pts.

GAME OF THE ROUND: Top quality game here with 2 sides that have produced some big games over the last few weeks Leeming have a chance to bounce back here but who knows how much lasts week near double score beat down against the bottom side will have on their confidence.
The Lions (without their mane as that’s still at Basso, the real Lions) should have this by less than a dozen shots but if the Saints can keep that blowout rink in check then it’s game on here. Ossy Pk need the early jump to get the Agg into a genuine 50/50 but overall a great baseline result for the overall table with these 2 locking horns.
Leeming 6 - 2

The Dolphins are stranded on the beach & chasing the warmth of the sea but heading into this one knowing that no side that ever topped 1 White lost 3 in a row.
The Eagles away can be hot & cold. They’ll need the A game here but they could easily get the early bump & they’ll be right in the count.
Joondalup 6 - 2

The 2 teams that get an allegorical reactions to away trips go head to head here. Yes the Titans are top & not to say they can’t win this game but it’s Cockburn away so I’m already nervous.
The home track bullies should beat the other home track bullies if stats go as per usual.
North Beach need this with Cockburn winning the last 2 back to back so they’ll be a little unsure in this one is it’s close.
North Beach 6 - 2

Hard to bet too I to this one as Mossies need this Agg by a long stretch. It’s hard to see Mossies playing for Finals without putting away these games.
The Kookaburras have had some great results lately but this one will be a little tough. Not to say they don’t have a chance but Mossies still have enough home firepower to grab the Agg.
Mosman Park 7 - 1

The Reds are screaming for a few big home Aggs & they’ll get no better opportunity than here. However it was an easy game up to last Saturday where Basso laid down the marker of the season against the ex.top side.
Basso are tracking ok away, yes not getting the final results but overall close to the mark. Basso just need a good matchup on Wishart & roll the dice on the rest. The Reds have been strong at home so it’ll be difficult to not back then home.
