Forrestfield & Districts 76 (1) vs Kardinya 96 (7)
(George Tibbles 11 - Danny Comrie 35)
(Jarad Weppner 32 - Brett Adams 16)
(Rhys Tillemans 16 - Norm Ball 21)
(Trent Tillemans 17 - John Rochford 24)
An impressive away win from Kardinya sees them race to 2nd position on the ladder at the end of round 2. In the end it was a comfortable 20 shot win with Danny Comrie doing most of the damage with a 24 shot win over George Tibbles. The only winner for Forrestfield was Jarrad Weppner who defeated Brett Adams by 16 shots. Kardinya setting their season up well and looking the main danger to Kalamunda at this early stage. They face fellow undefeated team in Willetton at home in what will be another important fixture. Forrestfield will be looking for their first win of the season away at Thornlie.

Kalamunda 101 (8) vs Warnbro 57 (0)
(Dwayne Wooltorton 27 - George Jackson 14)
(Frank Carbone 22 - John Radford 12)
(Wayne Olive 23 - Troy Dellar 18)
(William Brandsma 29 - Barry Kalinowsky 13)
Kalamunda dominated Warnbro on the weekend to record a 44 shot win and top position on the ladder after Round 2. All rinks recorded comfortable victories with the biggest win coming again from the Brandsma rink with a 16 shot win over Barry Kalinowski. Kalamunda also setting their season up well and they will really fancy their chances to record another away win when they travel to Dalkeith who have yet to record a win this season. Warnbro unfortunately for them must play another away fixture vs Rossmoyne and hopefully they can improve their away record.

Willetton 72 (6) vs Rockingham 66 (2)
(Alan Walters 23 - Bruce Edwards 18)
(Cameron Girvan 21 - Pietro Villa 9)
(Justin Wright 14 - Mark Devenny 21)
(Peter Bartoshefski 14 - Marcus Simpson 18)
What a great start to the season for Willetton who recorded their 2nd straight win and the important 3rd spot on the ladder at the end of round 2. This was a close one with Rockingham putting in a strong performance away from home. It was the Cameron Girvan rink that did most of the damage with a 12 shot win over Pietro Villa. Wins to Marcus Simpson and Mark Devenny were not enough for Rockingham but they walk away with 2 valuable points away from home. Willetton face another big test next week when they travel to Kardinya in what should be match of the round. Rockingham return home to face Cockburn in what should also be a great match.

Cockburn 94 (7) vs Dalkeith Nedlands 62 (1)
(James Wylie 35 - Darren Redeckis 13)
(Kenneth Wylie 13 - Martin Saunders 20)
(Peter Burgess 25 - Jesse Brown 17)
(Steve Srhoy 21 - Lindsay Richardson 12)
Cockburn recorded their 1st away win for the season with a comfortable 32 shot win over Dalkeith a home. Steve Srhoy recorded his 2nd straight win and along with James Wyllie and Peter Burgess made sure that the aggregate was safe. The Martin Saunders rink for Dalkeith rink also recorded there 2nd win for the season and were the lone winner for the visitors. Dalkeith seem to be digging themselves into a bit of a hole and there is not much relief in sight as the take on top of the table Kalamunda at home next weekend. Cockburn look to have a very strong home ground advantage and if they can pinch a couple of wins away from home they could be finals bound. They tackle Rockingham away in what should be a close match.

Thornlie 91 (8) vs Rossmoyne 69 (0)
(Daniel Slade 22 - Allan Petchell 18)
(Jim Stean 31 - Rawley Lang 16)
(Mark Separovich 19 - Craig Edson 17)
(Robert Carruthers 19 - Walter Harvey 18)
Thornlie defeated Rossmoyne with a comfortable 8 nil victory to record some valuable points on the weekend. The big winner for Thornlie was Jim Stean by 15 shots over Rawley Lang. The mayor would have been pulling his hair out as he now sees Rossmoyne at the foot of the table with just 1 point for the season. All of the remaining rinks were very close but unfortunately for Rossmoyne they all fell the way of the home side. Thornlie like quite a few sides look like they will be hard to beat at home and good for them they play another home fixture this Saturday vs Forrestfield. Rossmoyne tackle Warnbro at home and this could be their big opportunity to get the fist win on the board.
