1st to the flag match PROMOTION
1st, 2nd, 3rd will be promoted to 1 White CHALLENGE
7th and 8th will play against 2nd div teams RELEGATION
9th and 10th automatic relegated
- Armadale are pretty much locked in as our premiers. Mathematically they can still be caught but 11.5 points is a good buffer with just 3 rounds to play. They did it a bit tough on the weekend against bottom of the table Gosnells but did what good sides do and found a way.
- Gosnells despite a very credible performance of the weekend are consigned to 10th position and they almost certainly will be heading to 2nd division next season.
- Kardinya suffered somewhat of a surprise loss away at Safety Bay on the weekend. This makes it hard to claim top spot but it still sees them firmly entrenched in 2nd place and looking at One White next season.
- Safety Bay after a couple of sluggish weeks turned it on at home with a solid win and they are now back in 5th place on the ladder with a realistic chance at 3rd place and promotion to White.
- South Perth and Rockingham both had good wins of the week and sit in 3rd and 4th positions on the ladder respectively. That was a great win by South Perth at Cockburn with somewhat of a depleted side whilst Rockingham enjoyed a pretty comfortable win at home against Dalkeith. The two sides clash next week at South Perth that will well and truly get match of the day status.
- The loss by Cockburn at home sees them back in 9th place however with Dalkeith also falling short at Rockingham the two are locked in a battle royale to try and avoid 9th place and automatic demotion to 2nd division. Every single point will be crucial over the next 3 matches.
- And that leaves us with Rossmoyne and Willetton who played against each other in match of the round on the weekend. Rossmoyne will be disappointed to walk away with just 1 point at home. They slip back to 6th place on the ladder and with just an outside chance of getting to 3rd. However Willetton in 7th are now within touching distance of Rossmoyne in 6th so a lot to play for over the final 3 matches
