Skippers records read as NAME (Win,Loss,Draw)
As we head into the second half we sneak in round 10 before the Xmas break. The Millers lead the field and once again show even with departures have plenty of cattle to pick from. Although we are only at the halfway mark I don’t think the bottom 4 will change. Some big games coming up and Leeming have gained the services of former Australian rep Barrie Lester to marquee for them this week. Lets get into the fixtures

Match of the round at it’s the premiers hosting the leaders. The premiers will be looking to get the chocolates and reclaim to spot on the ladder. The Millers do have more games on the road in the second half and go into this one with an unchanged line up. Still no Trewhella for the home side but I think they should still get over the line.

The Knights have hit their straps and got themselves right back into the mix. A win today would set them up nicely and possibly get them into the 4. Jeremy Thomas has done the ol sneaky transfer and will bring some extra strength up front. Cockburn really need to try and get some home wins and this one is quite winnable but im going the Knights to continue their winning way

The View are going to need and absolute miracle form here to get out of this mess. You can never write them off but would just about need to win the lot from here. Sorrento are also bleeding and I think these 2 will both be involved in the challenge game but ill go the home side

Monster game this one as the Lions host the Saints. A win for the home side will get them in close reach of the top 2 considering they play each other. The Saints went from leading the field to out of the 4 within a couple of weeks and really have to win this one as I think the Eagles and the Knights will both win their games and they could start to fall out of the mix should they get another egg. Tough one to pick as I think the Saints got the job done at the Den last year but if the Lions want to be contenders they have to win this one.
Bassendean 6-2

Our final game and it’s a late start as Leeming host the Eagles. Important for the Leeming to try and get off to a good start in the second half and have got the services of former Australian rep Barrie Lester. The Eagles only just hanging in the 4 would also like to get off to a good start with a win. Not sure sure how much experience Baz will have playing on gold flek in the wind coming from the Gold Coast but im going to go the visitors
