Apologies on the lack on commentary, very distracted with work. For the last year ever we’re 12/18 or 2/3rds into the season. There’s the back 9 of any season & then there’s the last 1/3, where the magic happens.

The Dolphins are 0.5pt off demotion but had a huge away win last round at the Cougars which will drive the confidence for this weekend.
The Beach Boys had a tipping point this season where Away games were going to drive the difference. Previously a weak gap in their armour they have closed that right up & are grabbing points away & home like Pac-Man just eating up all available points in front of themselves. Can’t see much changing here.

The Cougars dropped a close one at home last round so dropping 2 in a row at home at this time of the season would be massive for their Finals chances.
The Bay took good points in the last round but had 2 lost Aggs in a row before that so the kinks in the armour have been shown & North Brach had no problem walking through that opportunity. I see this as a very tight one & Kalamunda absolutely need points here but The Bay may just have the end & with it create a 2 game gap to 3rd with early reassurances of a guaranteed Finals spot.

The Saints 1 White side played their last home game just before Xmas & supposedly had their Xmas & End of Year function at the same event. That’s how long the Saints will be next seen at home, in a very long time after this round. There’s more chance of the Saints playing at home after this round than a seeing a new gym membership in any February.
With the Saints in trouble the Kats need to pounce but both sides are not without their struggles. There’s a chance Kardinya could go top 4 after this round but they’ll need to build that away form which isn’t driving massive confidence to date. Tough game to call but surely the Saints understand what’s at stake & can put this one away.

The Reds finished Christmas with a good win & backed it up last round with another great win so they’re running hot 2 for 2. They’ll need a furnace to get them hot enough for survival but stranger things have happened. They certainly have the potentially to run hot & 1 team every year goes on a tear so no reason it can’t be the Reds, it’s a mindset.
The Pioneers probably have a game in hand from genuine concern & 2pts of the chasing Kats so a big W here solidifies a 4th spot for them. It’s super tight in the midsection of the table & North Perth probably should be a few more it’s than current as they’ve only lost 4 games all season.

Tough game to call but that’s been Mossies all season. 95% score diff & running 4 from 11 tells the story. There’s only 1 place between both sides on the ladder so it should be a tight game.
Mossies win & the could leap frog Manning, however if the Eagles win they’ll likely do a power of work in defining their survival & possibly puts them within an Agg of a Finals spot. Can last years Premiers show that form again before it’s too late. The reality is whoever drops this one brings themselves into that lower spot on the ladder but it’s probably means a little less this season for both as 1 White South will kick in next Season.
