Both team’s winners from last week and should each go in with some confidence. South Perth building nicely and will be very competitive in any game that they play this season. A win in this one should see them push further up the ladder towards a top 3 position. They will welcome back the good Dr Mortley after a week out and he returns to his 3rd role for Neale Griffin to strengthen that rink. Cockburn with a couple of changes which in Cockburn language is a quiet week for the selectors. At Cockburn they would have a chance but at home I expect South Perth to come away with a comfortable win.

Both teams coming off defeats the previous week. Rockingham’s unbeaten run came to an end at the hands of Kardinya while Dalkeith were narrow 2 shot losers away at Cockburn. Really a vital match for both teams with Rockingham looking to cement themselves in a top 3 spot on the ladder and Dalkeith needing a win to give themselves any chance of getting out of the bottom 4. Rockingham look the better side on paper whilst Dalkeith have the home ground advantage and I expect this to be a close match. In the end Rockingham may just have a bit too much class with Simpson and Cole and will come away with a narrow win.
Gosnells

On paper this looks like a bit of a mismatch with top of the table Armadale vs the lowly Gosnells side at Armadale. I expect that Armadale will go in without Kevin Mckay who is away representing WA in the National side series. I assume that this match is going ahead and even without the talented McKay Armadale will still go in as warm favourites. Gosnells have been around the place in some games but in general it would be fair to say that they have yet to find their mojo this season. I expect that Armadale at home will come away with a comfortable win.
Armadale 7-1
Willetton v Rossmoyne

Nicholas Rogers, Trevor Thompson, Joshua Calyun, Justin Wright
John Porter, Barry Baker, Michael Brooks, Gavin Dodge INS: Calyun OUTS: Binning,
Willetton also going along steadily but I don’t think they have found the same level of performance that they displayed last season. They seem too reliant on the Girvan rink but perhaps this is the week that they fire up as they take on bottom of the ladder, Rossmoyne. The Rossmoyne side has been more competitive in recent weeks but away at Willetton will be a real test for them as they have generally struggled on the road. I am sure that they will give this their best shot but Willetton will be too strong and come away with the win.
Willetton 7-1

Kardinya emerged from the pack last week when the comfortably defeated top of the table Rockingham away from home. In previous seasons that would have been unheard of as they tended to win well at home and failed to fire a shot on the road. This could be a new Kardinya and if it is they will be a serious threat as the season goes on. They have class and experience on every line and should be a real test for the Safety Bay side. That said Safety Bay are going along nicely and have been competitive in pretty much every match that they have played this season. They will give this a good shot but in the end the re born Kardinya will be too strong.
