Edging towards half way & to have R10 completed before Christmas will be interesting but makes the next few weeks very interesting. As we know even after R6 the pattern seems to maintain itself but after R9 we’ll surely have an educated eye on who’s who in the zoo.

The Kats play a Pioneer side that are 1pt from the last 16pts & struggling to hold that honeymoon period of 1 White.
Yes there’s only 4.5pts between both sides but likely a little more after this weekend. Let’s not discount that the Pioneers have 2 skippers in the top 4 & Kats struggle to get 2 in the top 20. And with such stats reinforcing the simply fact that individual brilliance wins you close to nothing in pennants or basically another other sport event. The key to success is balance, but not balance in skill but cohesion. Cohesion is the ability to play for each other understanding your role not your individual brilliance.
Easy on to call for the home side as they performed well enough to drive confidence. If you wish to take Aggs at the Kats you need 4 balanced rinks & avoid the blowout. Not discounting North Perth but just keeping an eye in their games where they need to cross the river after years of Northern Altitude.

2nd plays 5th but only 1 win between both sides. The Beach Boys had a huge away win last round, teeing up this round as pivotal in their bid for a ticket to the big dance.
Manning have struggled on the road but are not without their wins although it’s been a few years since they or even their top side won at North Beach. Away side have a couple of chances but th home side should be too strong

Ossy Park have rung a few changes to mix it up. The Bay are cruising & not just because they’re only 1.5pts off top spot with both sides holding a game in hand but they seem to have balance right.
The Saints drop this & it will create a gap to safety & it’s likely this could create a few headaches in the new year.
The Bay will get a chance to go top but still have that game in hand to elevate themselves into at least the top 2.

Both sides are struggling to produce solid stats for either sides but the Dolphins probably showed more at home to drive some the Agg here.
The Reds need a huge Agg to get their season back on track. Highly unlikely that the Dolphins won’t be lining this game up for at least 7 but I feel the Reds can send the cat against pigeons this weekend.
Dolphins have shown enough at home to provide enough confidence that this should go their way with some to spare.

2 sides closely matched here which could swing this one either way. I love what Wooly side are producing this season & really see this as a step up. Bill is too obvious a target for the Cougars so strategically having a real weapon come under the radar has worked so far with Cougars sitting 0.5pt off top spot.
Mossies away can swing either way, mostly not great. They didn’t mind so much heading up the hills over the years so they’ll be no fear chasing the Agg. Mossies only get a few away games for the season, could this be one, possibly. Close one expected, <12 shots.
