Dalkeith really battling so far this season with just 2 wins and it doesn’t get any easier for them this week when they travel to Kardinya. The home side making a good fist of things – certainly front and centre in the chasing pack behind our ladder leaders, Armadale. They will need victory in this one just to keep the pressure on and I expect that they will walk away with a very comfortable win.

Kenneth Pride, Gary Bennett, Tony Percival, Wayne Bezant
Geoffrey Bovell, Gregory Reagan, David Mortley, Neale Griffin INS: Dawson OUTS: Skuza
What a match this should be with the in form Rossmoyne taking on the strong South Perth outfit. After a very slow start to the season Rossmoyne have put their foot down and whatever Mayor Lang is telling them it is working. I may be somewhat bold to suggest but I think they go in as favourites in this one. But South Perth and with gun lead Otto Dawson back in the side they will be very competitive. Very hard one to select but will go with the home side to make it 4 on the trot.
Rossmoyne 6-2

Rockingham coming off a very poor performance away at Armadale last week but I am tipping with the quality of the Armadale side that they won’t be the last team to suffer that fate. Gosnells back in the winner’s circle last week but this will be a far tougher proposition for them on the road to Rockingham. With the home side looking to bounce back strongly this week I think they should record a comfortable victory.
Rockingham 7-1
Safety Bay v Armadale

This should be a very interesting encounter and I don’t think that our ladder leader will have it all their own way this week. Conditions can be very tricky at the Bay and the home side play this venue exceptionally well. But the confidence levels at Armadale must be sky high and they still need to continue winning if they want to secure top spot come the end of the season. In the end they should have too much class and will come away with a narrow win.
Armadale 6-2
Cockburn v Willetton
Cockburn
Ian Coyne, Lee Bloomfield, Brett Clayton, Derek Gibson

Kevin Yakas, Mirko Musulin, Andrew Bernard, Denis Bandy
Giuseppi Reale, Mark (Sydney) Game, Kelli Wray, Paul Brotherston INS: Clayton, Bloomfield, Coyne OUTS: Lawrence, Gowland, McMillan
Another tough one to predict – Cockburn struggling but they grow a leg at home whilst Willetton having somewhat of an up and down season. Cockburn will rely a lot on the in form Wray/Brotherston combination whilst Willetton seem to rely a lot on the Girvan rink. Willetton did take it right up to the in form Kardinya side last week and I think that is slightly better form than what Cockburn has been displaying so I will tip them in another close one.
