Interesting game to start off with. Sorrento are winless on the bottom of the table and North Perth sitting 2nd with two wins after a dominant display last week against Yokine. Sorrento bring in Ortin and Crow who are both very handy bowlers and Newstead comes in to the Pioneers line up. Last time North Perth travelled they lost to Warwick and with Sorrento eager to get their first win of the season, I think they’ll be up and about and I’ll tip somewhat of an upset here
Sorrento 6-2.

After 2 home wins on the trot, the Knights travel to the Kennel to take on the Doggies who were soundly beaten last at North Perth. Deb Rhine comes in for McGrath for Yokine and Cambridge remain unchanged. Yokine are sitting 1-2, however they have had a very tough start playing against teams all vying for a top 4 spot and it doesn’t get any easier. Last time Cambridge travelled they lost to North Perth in round 1 by 5 shots, so they will be confident in recording an away win this week, however I’m expecting a bit of bite from the Doggies and get over the line…just!
Yokine 6-2

Wanneroo are up and about this season sitting undefeated and coming off a comprehensive away win against the Mounters last week. They remain unchanged against a Quinns side who are sitting 3rd on the ladder after two home wins and an away loss to Yokine. Wanneroo have set the standard this season so far and with Parr and Barker coming out the team for Quinns, Wanneroo should be too strong and I see them going 4-0 come Saturday evening.
Wanneroo 7-1

North Beach will be pleased to be back on their home turf this weekend after two away games in a row. They come up against a Mounters side who are yet to find their rhythm this season – relying heavily on the Park led rink. Herriot comes back in to the lineup to strengthen that rink after a week away with Howe and Vinicombe coming back in for the home side. North Beach is one of the harder places to travel and with Mounters looking a bit vulnerable at the moment, I’m going to go with the home side
North Beach 7-1

Both teas sit 1-2 after 3 rounds. Doubleview recorded their first win last week at home with Warwick going down away to Cambridge grabbing 2 points along the way. This is a must win for the View and one they would have ticked off as they went through the fixtures at the start of the season. Warwick would be confident heading to a grass surface and after beating North Perth a couple of weeks ago, they’re probably showing more promise than Doubleview at the moment. I’ll tip the home side to hang on in this one, but expect the Maggies to come for the fight
