Second last round of the season and it’s the top 5 vs the bottom 5 with Cambridge being the only team on the road. If they all win then the season is over for the Lions and the premiers. Mt Lawley just need the lone point to reach the tonne and considering they are hosting the Cats if they fail I will walk to the moon. I think we will just about be able to reduce the finals contenders down from 7 to 5 after this week but lets go through the matchups.

Big game for the Saints as they host Sorrento. Cambridge have 2 tough games to finish so a win for the Saints today and they could head into the last round looking for the double chance at finals. Sorrento got a maximum on the road last week so they wont be taking them lightly and should the visitors cause an upset then they too could possibly miss out on finals. This one gets match of the round for me as the Millers host the Lions. Both sides went down last week and the loser of this one would just about be out of the running for finals. A huge one to finish with as the premiers host the Knights. The knights if they can win this will just about have 2nd spot locked up, however a loss and it would be a must win when they head back home to take on Mt Lawley in the final round. The premiers need to win and hope for a couple of results to go their to remain in the hunt. Blake Nairn is back in for the visitors so should be plenty of action in this one but I will go with the home side
